Please Be Respectful

Cemetery Etiquette

Cemeteries are serene places where the dead are laid to rest with dignity and people mourn their loved ones.  The Cemetery is on private property with its own set of bylaws.

Please Note: No glass vases or containers are to be left on the property.

Use the following guideline when visiting our cemetery:

Summertime Visiting Hours: Daylight ONLY

Quiet Please

Keep noise to a minimum. Most people that you encounter on the cemetery grounds are mourning the death of a loved one. If you see a funeral or other service in progress, please be respectful and give them their space.

Litter

Do not litter. Take away any trash that you bring with you.

Dogs

Dogs must be leashed at all times while on the cemetery property. Keep your pet under control and clean up after it. Do not allow your dog to roam over graves. This is disrespectful to the deceased and their families.

Hands Off

Do not touch or climb on monuments, as many are very old and fragile.
